The Compliance Authority Articles Submission Form and Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in submitting an article for use in The Compliance Authority.

The Compliance Authority is interested in well-written compliance, risk, security, and governance features, book reviews, case studies, surveys, or any other type of articles that can help educate our readers.

Generally speaking, articles run 800-1500 words. Exceptions can be made for especially interesting or timely pieces. The ideal submission will be educational in nature, broadly addressing our core topics of interest, or narrowly focused on particular aspects of those topics. User case studies, best practices, real-world examples, analysis, tutorials, perspectives and opinions are all acceptable. Commercial messages and promotions will not be published as a thought leadership piece.

Submissions will be reviewed as quickly as possible- no longer than four weeks- and you will be contacted with an "accept or decline" and the target publication date will be determined. All articles submitted are required to be editable and proofread-able. The author will be given final approval rights prior to publication if any material changes are made.

We invite you to see the publication as a forum for establishing points of view and expertise from voluntary contributors. The Compliance Authority accepts submissions from the original author of the articles or a publicist hired by the copyright owner to submit material. By submitting material, you acknowledge that you are legally entitled to distribute the work and to allow it to be redistributed. (If you are a book publisher or public relations firm with copy to distribute, please include a note to that effect at the top of the article you submit.) We do not pay for articles, and do not accept articles that are primarily advertisements. However, we encourage you to place a brief resource box and contact information (again- no advertising) at the end of your article.

The Compliance Authority enjoys several great partnerships. From time to time, we distribute content to our partners that we think is relevant to their constituents. By submitting an article to us, you agree to let us use the article not only on The Compliance Authority Website, but any other place content from The Compliance Authority is used. Rest assured that you will be credited; you retain the copyright for your work, and are free to reuse it any way you want.
