The Sponsored Compliance Surveys
The University of Delaware Metrics Survey, sponsored
by The Compliance Authority is running two side-by-side surveys, with one aimed
at the end users and the other at auditors.
End
User Survey:
Participate in a survey to help determine whether or not organizations
are reporting on governance, management, or technical metrics. The survey is
based on the list of metrics harmonized by the UCF. The survey is conducted
with an intention to determine the kind and size of industry and whether or
not the organization is reporting on governance, management, or technical metrics.
Participants can drop off their emails to check back on the ultimate survey
results.
Auditor
Survey:
Take the auditor survey, which is based on the governance,
management, or technical metrics harmonized by the UCF between the following:
- Security Metrics Guide for Information Technology Systems, NIST SP 800-55
- Corporate Information Security Working Group: Report of the best practices
and metrics teams; subcommittee on technology, information policy, intergovernmental
relations and the census; Government Reform Committee, United States House of
Representatives (aka CISWG I)
- IIA Global Technology Audit Guide (GTAG): Information
Technology Controls
- Guide for Developing Performance Metrics for Information
Security, NIST SP 800-80 Auditors can drop off their emails to check back on
the actual survey results.
